Enjoy the historic character of the North Church and Octagon, located in Farmington's downtown historic district.  Ideal for parties, weddings, showers, reunions and other events these buildings retain their historic character with modern functions.  The North Church is newly renovated and the unique Octagon has had many restorative areas this past year, keeping it's charm and elegance.

The North Church was built in 1873 and retains its architectural details that include: seldom seen tin walls and ceiling, 1916 chandelier and arched doorways. The lower level can seat approx. 80 people or 180 standing.  There is a full kitchen and full bar, along with 2 ADA bathrooms.  The lower level is ADA accessible; the upper audience room is not.  Lower level: 1200 sf. Upper level 1600 sf with seating capacity of 240.

The Octagon is a very unique place to host your event. With pie-shaped rooms, central stairway that looks up to the cupola and an octagon shaped glassed-in porch, this home’s character is one of a kind.  The first floor includes, music room, library, dining room, den, glassed-in octagon porch, kitchen, pantry and ¼ bath.
On the National Register of Historic Places, The Octagon is one of Farmington’s landmarks and located at 126 High St. It is adjacent to the downtown and only 2 doors down from the North Church. Its architectural details will fascinate you. This home is only 1 of 19 octagon homes in Maine and 1 of 900 in the U.S. It was purchased, as well as its contents in May 2013 by the Farmington Historical Society. By purchasing the contents, it has allowed this majestic home to retain the W.G. Mallett family history, as the Mallett family lived there for over 100 years.

North Church: Upper or lower levels: ½ day (4 hrs.) = $100, full day (8 hrs) = $175, both levels + $50, hourly, 2 hr. mininum = $25/hr., use of kitchen + $25.  Non-profits-20% discount.
Octagon: ½ day (4 hrs.) $125, full day (8 hrs.) $200, hourly (min. 2 hrs) $35/hr. Non-profits -20%

Events can be catered and use of the bar requires a licensed caterer for public events.
